TITLE:
Combo Adapter DC Input Cable/Module failures

SYMPTOM:
The 90W Ultraslim AC/DC Combo Adapter will not charge the ThinkPad in DC mode use. Replacing the Cigarette Lighter Adapter (CLA) fuse does not resolve the issue.

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:
ThinkPad

SYSTEM IS CONFIGURED WITH:
ThinkPad with 90W Ultraslim AC/DC Combo Adapter (PN 41R4493), used in travel DC mode, with DC Input Module date code prior to “2013.20”.

SOLUTION:
The user should replace the DC Input Module with the complete DC FRU Assembly (FRU 03X6271).
